A colleague can't see a document
Why a colleague, or even an Admin, can't find a document, and how to give them access.

In fynk, users only see documents that belong to their teams, documents they're on, and documents they created. Only Owners see everything. If a colleague can't find a document, one of the causes below applies.
The document has no team
This is the most common cause. A document without a team is visible only to the person who uploaded it and to Owners.
Fix: open the document and assign it to a team, or select several documents in the document list and use the bulk action Teams. To prevent this in future, turn on Require team assignment in Account Settings → Document workflow.
Your colleague isn't in the document's team
Fix: add them to the team in Account Settings → Teams, or invite them to just this document with Invite.
Your colleague is an Admin
Admins manage settings, but they only see documents of their own teams. This often surprises people.
Fix: add the Admin to the relevant teams, or give them the Owner role if they need to see every document.
The document is archived
Archived documents are hidden from the document list by default.
Fix: in the document list, choose Filter → Archive → Include archived entries.
A filter or saved view hides it
Fix: clear the filters in the document list, or switch to All documents.
They can see it but can't edit or don't get reminders
They see it through their team but haven't joined it. Fix: they click Join document in the blue bar at the top. See Document access: owner, collaborator, viewer and Join document.
Still can't find it?
Ask an Owner to search for the document; Owners see all documents. If it was deleted, support can restore it within 10 days.
