If your contract is already final as a PDF, upload it and send it for signature as it is. The layout stays exactly as in your file.
Available on all plans
Upload the PDF for signing
Drag the PDF onto any page in fynk, or go to Documents and click Upload files.
Choose Sign document.
In the document, drag the Signature element from the right-hand panel to where the signature belongs.
Add the party and its signatory in the same step: the party name, and the signatory's name and email address. For your own company, select the internal party.
Repeat for every party that signs.
Click Start signing, choose the signature type and confirm. See Send a document for signature.
Sign document or Import without signing?
When you upload a PDF, fynk asks what you want to do with it.
If you chose Import without signing by mistake, you can't start signing on that document. Delete it and upload the PDF again with Sign document. [CHECK: one call said the choice can be changed later.]
Add dynamic fields to a PDF
Drag dynamic fields from the elements panel onto the PDF for information that needs to be filled in before signing, for example a date or a reference number. Use the placement aid to help position them. If your PDF already contains form fields, fynk turns them into dynamic fields when you upload it.
The Standard signature block adds the date and time of signing automatically. For other details, such as the place of signing, drag a static text field from the document content tab onto the PDF.
Good to know
You can't edit the text of an uploaded PDF. To change the content, upload a corrected PDF, or upload a Word file instead and edit it in fynk.
Change proposals only work in documents created in fynk, not in uploaded PDFs. Comments in the discussion work for both.
PDFs can be up to 30 MB.
Password-protected PDFs: fynk asks for the password during upload.
PDFs with form fields or other protections can cause errors during signing. fynk offers to flatten such PDFs with one click. Flattening creates a new revision and keeps the original.
Troubleshooting
The PDF won't upload, or signing fails with an error? See A PDF won't upload or shows errors in Import & metadata.
