Adding a counterparty should start with who they are and what role they play in your contract.

We've simplified party and signatory handling. You no longer have to choose between a person, a business, or a to-be-determined entity before you can get started.

A party now consists of:

• A label describing its role in the document

• An optional legal entity name

• Its signatories

This makes it easier to set up your contract's participants, with fewer decisions up front and a structure that fits how you work.
