Clear prompts help the AI Assistant understand your task quickly. You get better answers, and you avoid unnecessary steps that use AI credits.
Available on all plans
Be specific about what you want
Include what you already know: the document name, party, document type, time period, status or the value you want to set. You can also name the responsible person, tags, other metadata or the signature status.
A simple formula
Action + object + criteria + result
Example: Show me (action) all supplier contracts (object) that expire within the next 90 days (criteria), sorted by expiration date (result).
Combine related tasks
Instead of three separate requests, write one:
Update "Master Service Agreement - Demo Inc.": set the contract value to €12,000, add John Doe as a signatory, and set the expiration date to 31 December.
Build on the conversation
The assistant remembers the current chat, so you can refine step by step:
- Which contracts expire next month?
- Only show me customer contracts.
- Sort them by expiration date.
Start a new chat when you switch to a different topic.
Good to know
- Prompt length doesn't decide credit usage. Credits depend on the actions the assistant carries out, so a longer, clear prompt can be cheaper than several short ones.
- Check the planned actions before you confirm changes.
- If the assistant picked the wrong document or plans a different change than you want, adjust your request before you confirm.
- Avoid test requests you don't need. Every completed AI action can use credits.
