Where to find the signed PDF after everyone has signed, and how to check the signatures.

When all parties have signed, fynk sends everyone the signed PDF by email. You can also download it from the document.

Get the signed PDF

  • By email: you receive an email with the completed document as soon as the last signatory has signed. If you signed early, this can be days later, once everyone else has signed.

  • From the document: open the document with your link and download the PDF. [CHECK: label of the download button for externals] If your link has expired, request a new one on the page.

Check the signatures

The signatures are embedded in the PDF as digital certificates. To see them, open the PDF in Adobe Acrobat Reader and open the Signature panel. It shows who signed, when, and whether the document was changed after signing.

Browser PDF viewers and some preview apps don't show digital signatures. If you don't see them, use Adobe Acrobat Reader. [CHECK]

Good to know

  • The signed PDF is the final document. It can't be changed after signing; amendments need a new document.

  • If you didn't receive the email, check your spam folder or ask the sender to send you the signed copy.

  • Questions about storing or deleting your data go to the sender, who is responsible for the document. fynk processes the data on their behalf.

Troubleshooting

Chrome doesn't open or show the PDF? Go to chrome://settings/content/pdfDocuments and check whether Chrome opens PDFs or downloads them. You can also open the link in a private (incognito) window.
