Once a document is ready, signing takes only a few clicks. This example uses a document created from a template; the steps for an uploaded PDF are almost the same.

Available on all plans

Step 1: Check the document

  • All mandatory dynamic fields are filled in.
  • Each party has a signatory with name and email address.
  • Every signature block is placed.

If anything is missing, fynk tells you when you try to start signing.

Step 2: Optional: share it for review

If the other party should read or comment first, click Invite and invite them by email. See Share a document with external parties.

Step 3: Start signing

  1. Click Start signing.
  2. Check the signature type: simple, advanced or qualified. See Signature types: simple, advanced, qualified.
  3. Choose whether signatories sign one after another or all at the same time.
  4. Optionally add CC recipients who get a copy when the document is signed.
  5. Confirm.

All signatories get an email invitation. Invitation links are valid for 48 hours; signatories can request a new one with one click.

Step 4: Track progress

The document list shows how many signatures are in, for example "1/2". fynk reminds signatories every two days until they sign.

Step 5: Done

When everyone has signed, the document moves to Signed, and all parties receive the signed PDF by email. The AI analyses the contract, and reminders for its dates are set up.
