Use the AI Assistant to find contracts, answer questions across documents, compare contracts and get everyday tasks done in plain language.

The AI Assistant works like a colleague who knows your whole contract repository. Ask it questions in plain language, compare documents, or ask it to do things for you, such as creating a document from a template or building a dashboard.

Open the assistant

  • Click fynk AI in the sidebar to open the full assistant, best for longer conversations.
  • Click the ✨ icon in the bottom-right corner to open it next to the page you're working on, for quick questions.

What you can ask

Find documents

  • Which contracts expire next month?
  • Show me all unsigned contracts.
  • Which contracts are waiting for approval?

Understand documents

  • Summarise this contract.
  • What are the payment terms?
  • Does this contract contain a liability cap?

Search across all contracts

  • Which contracts contain an automatic renewal clause?
  • Show me contracts that mention GDPR.
  • Compare our customer agreement with the subcontractor agreement for Demo Inc.

Create and update

  • Create an NDA from my template for Demo Inc.
  • Add John Doe as signatory.
  • Set the contract value to €12,000.
  • Move this contract to the Signing stage.
  • Create a template from this file (with a Word or PDF file attached).

Organise and report

  • Tag all contracts with Demo Inc. as "Key Account".
  • Assign all contracts in review to the Legal team.
  • Create a dashboard for contracts expiring this quarter.

Confirm changes

When the assistant wants to change something, it shows you the planned actions first. Check them, then confirm, or adjust your request.

Good to know

  • Every user can use the assistant. It only sees what you can see, and can only do what your role allows.
  • The assistant may ask follow-up questions before completing a task.
  • The assistant can't edit or redline the contract text itself. To work on the text, use the AI writing tools in the editor. See AI writing tools in the editor.
  • Start a new chat for a new topic, so the assistant focuses on what you need now.
  • Credits are used for the actions the assistant performs, not for the length of your prompt. See Prompting tips for better answers.
  • You can also connect your own AI tools, such as Claude or ChatGPT, to fynk. See Connect AI tools with MCP.
