Several companies or entities in fynk

Manage contracts for a group of companies in one account, or keep entities fully separate in several accounts.

If you manage contracts for several companies, for example a holding with subsidiaries, you can either keep them in one fynk account or set up separate accounts. For most groups, one account is the better choice.

Multi-entity management is available on Business and Pro.

  1. Add every legal entity as an internal party in Account Settings → My Parties. See Set up your internal parties (My Parties).

  2. Create a team per entity, or per entity and department, for example "Austria – Sales".

  3. Assign documents to the right teams, and turn on Require team assignment in Account Settings → Document workflow.

  4. Give group-wide roles, such as group legal or finance, membership in all relevant teams, or the Owner role.

This gives you one repository, one search, shared templates and group-wide dashboards, while each entity's staff see only their own documents.

Option 2: Separate accounts

Use separate accounts only if entities must be completely separated, for example for legal reasons, or need their own branding.

You can switch between accounts with the same login by clicking the account name at the top left of the sidebar.

Good to know

  • Documents can't be moved between accounts. To move one, download it and upload it to the other account.

  • Branding is set once per account. Different logos per entity in the same account aren't possible yet; headers and footers can differ per template.

  • Each person needs a seat in every account they work in.
