This article covers everything about your own login: signing in, resetting your password, two-factor authentication (2FA) and active sessions.

Available on all plans · All roles

Go to https://app.fynk.com/login and log in with your email address and password. If your company uses single sign-on, use https://app.fynk.com/sso/login instead. See Set up SSO.

Reset your password

  1. On the login page, click Forgot password.

  2. Enter your email address.

  3. Open the email from fynk and set a new password.

If the email doesn't arrive, check your spam folder. See Emails or notifications don't arrive.

Set up two-factor authentication

  1. Open your profile.

  2. Turn on two-factor authentication.

  3. Scan the QR code with an authenticator app, such as Google Authenticator or Microsoft Authenticator, and enter the code.

When you log in, you can choose to trust this device for 30 days, so you don't need a code every time. fynk remembers the device with a cookie. In a private window, after you clear your cookies or in another browser, you're asked for the code again.

Make 2FA mandatory for everyone

Owners and Admins can enforce 2FA for all users in Account settings → General → Two-factor authentication. Enabling it there enforces 2FA for every user in the account. Users without 2FA are asked to set it up at their next login.

Manage your sessions

In your profile, you can see where you're logged in, and log out of all devices at once. fynk also emails you when someone logs in from a new device. You can't turn this email off. After 2 hours without activity, you're logged out.

Troubleshooting

  • Lost access to your authenticator app? Contact fynk support to reset your two-factor authentication.

  • Invitation link expired? User invitations are valid for 14 days. Ask an Admin to send a new one.

Good to know

  • If your company uses SSO, don't combine it with 2FA in fynk. Use your identity provider's multi-factor authentication instead.
